Parkdale-High Park

Parkdale-High Park includes the neighbourhoods of Parkdale, Roncesvalles, The West Bend, Runnymede, High Park, Bloor West, The Junction, Swansea, Sunnyside, Warren Park and Lambton Baby Point.

About 108,000 people live here, the average age is 38 and 15 percent of residents are younger than 15. More than 58 percent of Parkdale-High Park residents rent their homes, and about 42 per cent own their homes.

The 2022 Municipal Election will be held on Oct. 24, when voters can select their choice for Mayor, local City Councillor and local School Board Trustee.

Out of about 80,000 eligible voters in the ward, just over 37,000 votes were cast for City Councillor in 2018. Gord Perks received 16,887 votes, while 21,016 were cast for one of the other nine candidates.
